Photography Contest

I recently entered a photography contest at work, and took second place in the Critters and Characters category. Here's the photo that won. It's my kitty Midas!

Baby Emma

Back in October, Gerogina and TJ let me share an afternoon with them and take some photos of their family expecting a new addition. Four days later, Emma was born.I got to spend an evening with the family, and see the bundle first hand. She's beautiful and precious and already dictating her own schedule. Here's a look at the evening. Congrats Georgina, TJ and big sister Ella!

Halloween with Graystone Photography

Halloween isn't just for dressing up and begging for candy!! I had a blast working with Erin and Kelly from Graystone Photography this past weekend before partying with them on Halloween! They dressed as 50's girls and we took to the street and did a shoot with them and a mustang! I think we laughed more than we shot photos, but it was worth it! The photos came out amazing, especially when they were processed and tinted to look like they were from the 50's. Check 'em out!

Here's Erin!

Here's Kelly!

Happy Halloween!

Georgina And TJ are Expecting!

Okay, so I have a million and one things to do, but I just HAD to get these pictures up. I had so much fun on Saturday shooting with Georgina and TJ, who are adding a daughter to their family in less than a month. Georgina is the sister of Michelle who just got married two weeks ago, so I'm sure Michelle won't mind if I delay her wedding pics by one day to post her sister's maternity photos!! Wink, Wink!

Anyways, we spent some time down at Muddy Run on Saturday and what a beautiful day it was! We had a blast, laughing and getting dirty. Even soon-to-be big sister Ella made an appearence in some of the photos!

Here are two of my favs from the day as well as a slide show of some of my other favorites from Saturday. Congrats you two! I can't wait to meet her. Stay tuned for new baby picks once she has arrived!!

Michelle and Michael -- September 13, 2008

Michelle and Michael became husband and wife on September 13. Rain was forcasted for the day, but luck was on our side as it didn't come! It was a little muggy and hot, but it was still a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple. The ceremony was held at St. Joe's church in downtown Lancaster. The church was simply amazing! A small reception was held at Mazzi in Leola following the ceremony. I promised Michelle that I would post my ten favorite pictures for her tonight, but alas, I lied. I couldn't find ten....I found almost forty! Unable to cut them down to post the indivudal pictures, I put together a short slide show of them. Enjoy!

Erin And Justin 8-30-08

Hello everyone! I had the incredible pleasure of working with Erin and Justin the other week. They are an amazing couple with an amazing son! What amazed me even more was that they planned this whole wedding in less than two months!!! Erin got in touch with me less than two weeks to the wedding as the photographer was one of the last items on her list! Fortunately, I was able to help them out and I was so glad that I could! I had a great time with them and wish them all the best in the world for them! Here are some of the pics from that day!

We took some pictures in the garden of a close friend of hers
before the ceremony. This garden was beautiful and lots of fun the play in.
Here's the happy couple!
Here is the ring bearer, their son Austin. Isn't he cute?

Brandy and Mike Say "I Do" - 5.31.08

This past Saturday, I had the amazing task of hanging out with Brandy and Mike as they became husband and wife. While the weather in the morning was thunderstorms, with tornado warnings through the afternoon, the sun broke through and it cleared up in time for a beautiful outdoor wedding. It was held in Ephrata at the Eicher Art Center.
I had the privilege of having Erin Mattern from Graystone Photography as my second photographer. Check out her blog.
Here is a peak at the day...
